Qualifications:

Qualifications may be substituted upon review by the Senior Vice President.

Promote student growth in all developmental areas, including self care, academics, motor, social and language skills through individualized and group teaching strategies, utilizing a team-based, multi-disciplinary approach.

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group instruction to assigned students.
• Function as a case manager for designated students.
• Serve as primary facilitator of multi-disciplinary team based services and supports.
• Coordinate and conduct educational assessments as needed.
• Facilitate and coordinate development and implementation of Individual Education Plans.
• Participate in development of student progress reports as scheduled.
• Communicate with parents as needed regarding student progress.
• Coordinate the implementation of Individual Education Plans.
• Provide orientation, training, ongoing supervision and support of classroom staff.
• Serve as primary facilitator of classroom activities.
• Participate in staff, team meetings, group and individual supervision.
• Participate in professional development activities and training necessary to enhance skills and maintain certification.
• Assist in outreach and program fundraising activities.
• Complete and maintain documentation as required by KDC and all applicable funding or regulatory agencies.
• Perform other job-related responsibilities as assigned.
