Every three to five years, KDC executes a comprehensive agency evaluation for the purpose of strategic planning. This evaluation is conducted through four primary components:
- Strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats analysis with all staff members.
- Key constituent interviews and surveys with funders, clients and their families, providers, referral sources, community peers and others.
- Analysis of trends in demographics, diagnoses, treatment modalities and funding.
- Survey of KDC’s clinical professionals and direct care staff.
This Strategic Planning process was first set in place in 2008 and has produced effective plans that provide clarity in how we best pursue our mission. Each year the board of directors and staff review the goals and work plans to monitor progress and make revisions if necessary. We are currently in the Strategic Planning process and anticipate publishing the new plan soon.
