Kennedy-Donovan Center Appoints Lisa Morgan as President and CEO

Foxboro, MA (October 26, 2021) — Human services leader Lisa Morgan has been named President and Chief Executive Officer of Kennedy-Donovan Center, a Massachusetts-based organization that provides support to people with developmental delays, disabilities, and other family challenges.

Morgan has dedicated her career to improving programs and services for people with disabilities and the most vulnerable, so they are empowered and supported in realizing their full potential.  She brings more than 28 years of experience in the nonprofit sector including managing a wide array of programs for people with disabilities in Montreal, Baltimore, Atlanta, and in Virginia.

Currently, Morgan is Chief Operating Officer of enCircle (formerly Lutheran Family Services of Virginia) and provides executive leadership for the agency’s programmatic operations. enCircle operates schools for students not meeting developmental or behavioral goals, provides services for adults with disabilities, supports foster care and adoption, offers counseling to children, families and adults, and is one of a network of agencies nationwide that helps unaccompanied immigrant children find sponsors in the U.S.

Previously, she was Virginia State Director of St. John’s Community Services where she directed and developed employment, residential and day support services for individuals living with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as those experiencing hunger and homelessness. She has also served as Regional Executive Director of ServiceSource in Virginia where she directed the delivery of rehabilitation programs and services for this agency that provides day support, individual placement, and group supported and direct employment for people with disabilities in Northern Virginia, Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Colorado.

Morgan is currently the Convener of Lutheran Services in America’s Disability Network. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Concordia University in Montreal and a Master of Arts from the University of Phoenix.

She will assume her responsibilities as President and Chief Executive Officer of Kennedy-Donovan Center on December 6, 2021.
