Ways to Give

Your donation makes a difference.

Thanks to the generosity of KDC’s community, more than 7,500 children, adults, and families have access to life-changing support each year. When someone makes a gift to Kennedy-Donovan Center, they join a network of supporters who help individuals across KDC programs work toward their full potential. KDC offers several ways to give, and donors are invited to explore the option that best reflects how they would like to make an impact.

Kennedy-Donovan Center is a 501(c)3 nonprofit (EIN: 04-2519028).

Corporate Giving

Corporate partners play a meaningful role in supporting Kennedy-Donovan Center throughout Southeastern Massachusetts. Companies that invest in KDC directly support individuals in our communities, including children and adults with developmental disabilities who are working toward their own personal growth and independence.

Employers who share KDC’s sense of purpose can demonstrate their commitment to local communities in several meaningful ways.

Event and Program Sponsorships

KDC offers a wide range of programs across the region, creating many opportunities for businesses to advance their corporate social responsibility goals. The Development and Communications team collaborates with corporate partners to identify sponsorship opportunities that align with company values and the interests of employees and customers.

To explore event sponsorships or program-specific opportunities, contact Mariah Nolan, Senior Director, Development and Communications at mnolan@kdc.org or 781.844.6993.

Matching Gifts

Many companies match charitable donations made by their employees. If your organization offers matching gifts, promoting KDC as a beneficiary can significantly increase the impact of employee contributions. If your workplace does not yet offer a matching gift program, KDC is happy to support the process of establishing one.

Legacy Giving

Legacy giving is a meaningful way to demonstrate a commitment to KDC’s mission and to ensure impact for life.

Including a charitable gift to KDC in an estate plan can support both your long-term financial goals and the future of KDC’s work. Some planned giving options use tax planning and estate directives to minimize the effect of charitable gifts on the rest of an estate. Other approaches can sustain income for the donor.

KDC encourages individuals to speak with a financial planner or other professional advisor when considering how to incorporate a legacy gift into their estate plan.

If you have already included a bequest to KDC, the Development and Communications team would be grateful to learn of your commitment and acknowledge your generous support of individuals and families.

For questions or assistance, including donations of stock or securities, contact Mariah Nolan, Senior Director, Development and Communications, at 781.844.6993 or mnolan@kdc.org.

Tribute Giving

A tribute donation to KDC can be made in celebration, honor, or memory of a loved one. It’s a unique expression of thoughtfulness and meaningful way to recognize a person you care about.

Your gift can be in celebration of a milestone or special occasion. It can be in honor or appreciation of the program or staff person who made a difference for you. Or it can pay lasting tribute by memorializing a loved one while also extending sympathy to the family.

Your loved one will receive a special acknowledgment that recognizes the honoree and the donor. The amount of your gift remains confidential.

To make your tribute donation, please contact Mariah Nolan, Senior Director, Development & Communications, at 781.844.6993 or mnolan@kdc.org
