Kennedy-Donovan Center to Host Annual Spring Celebration to Benefit All Programs & Services

Cinco de Mayo graphicFOXBOROUGH, MA – May 1, 2018 – Kennedy-Donovan Center (KDC) announces Webster Bank as the Presenting Sponsor for its annual Spring Celebration Gala to be held on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Lombardo’s in Randolph, Massachusetts. Each year, KDC features a different program and this year’s event will focus on the continuum of care the organization provides for the community. KDC offers programs and services from pre-natal to the end of life.

The great nephew of Luella Hennessey Donovan, Ted Carr, was featured in the video shown at the Spring Celebration Gala this year and spoke highly of his love for his great aunt, Lu. “Lu left a strong legacy and I am honored to continue fulfilling her vision for the individuals KDC serves,” said Ted. “This year’s Gala is leading up to the 50th Anniversary of KDC, which was founded in 1969, and the organization has grown tremendously. What started out as a program serving only 4 children, now serves over 10,000 individuals, children and families annually.” The evening will include a sit-down dinner, silent and live auctions, dancing, and a special video presentation along with other exciting elements.

It is sure to be another inspiring evening where guests will help raise $140,000 in support of KDC’s Programs and Services, which span over 50% of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. All funds raised from this event will be used to support KDC’s Programs and Services.
