What is Shared Living?
Kennedy-Donovan Center values placing individuals with disabilities in the least restrictive living environments possible. Our Shared Living program supports adults with developmental disabilities through highly individualized living arrangements in the homes of trained caregivers.
KDC partners with caregivers.
Shared Living caregivers are non-family members who provide live-in practical supports and companionship to an individual with medical, developmental, and/or behavioral needs. Caregivers may also help family members to coordinate visits, care, and service planning.
