Who We Support
KDC provides services to young children, from birth to 36 months, who have or are at risk for developmental delays. Parents can refer their own families to the program. Referrals can be made by anyone, including parents, pediatricians, or other professionals in the community who have insights about a child’s development.
When a child is referred to Early Intervention, our team of KDC professionals complete a developmental evaluation to assess all areas of development and determine the child’s eligibility. All Early Intervention programs are certified and overseen by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.
