Become a Caregiver

Program Overview

KDC respite providers allow full-time caregivers to take a break from the daily challenges of caring for a family member or individual with a disability. Respite services may be provided in an individual’s home, in the community or in the home of the respite provider. Respite caregivers also support individuals with disabilities who live independently in the community.

KDC offers respite providers a wide range of ongoing support to help them care for individuals with medical, developmental and/or behavioral needs. On-call KDC professionals are always available to assist respite providers.

The KDC Difference

With our thoughtful matching, customized supports, and committed caregivers, the individuals we serve experience success every day. Respite caregivers are essential to long-term sustainability for individuals with disabilities and their caregivers.
